The Tanker Mk 2 has had the top gaurd removed, leaving only the bottom gaurd in place. This allows the thumb to be comfortably placed along the spine of the blade. This knife is slightly smaller than its other fighting companions. The Tanker is dedicated to those men who operate from the compact and brutal confines of the armored vehicle. They need something that will fit a bit closer to the body lengthwise so that the knife will not get caught up when exiting hatches and small doorways. The back edge is sharpened to the middle of the knife, making this weapon deadly from either cutting direction as well as having great thrusting characteristics.
